Greetings from the North Country!  The water flows and the mild weather (for the most part) have given us a pretty good winter Steelhead season so far.  There have been fish caught from the top to bottom of the river.  As usual the Lower Fly stretch is consistently producing great numbers of Steelies, and there have been reports of quite a few decent sized Brown Trout coming to the hook down river.  Hope to see ya soon. Til then...Tight lines. The Salmon River and Lake Ontario provided world class fishing for Salmon, Steelhead, Brown Trout and Bass.  The river has a lot of areas for spin casting as well as restricted areas for flyfishing only.
